“Serah terima ini juga berkaitan dengan pembinaan personel dan pembinaan satuan, yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas kinerja dan produktivitas satuan serta pengembangan karier Perwira yang bersangkutan,” ungkap Pangkostrad.
Di samping itu, kata Edi, serah terima jabatan ini, bermanfaat membekali dan mengembangkan kualitas kepemimpinan, wawasan, manajemen dan profesionalisme para Perwira sebagai pemimpin di masa depan.
Pangkostrad mengingatkan bahwasanya jabatan merupakan kepercayaan pimpinan dan amanah yang harus di pertanggungjawabkan.
“Jabatan itu harus dipertanggungjawabkan kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Kuasa, TNI dan khususnya Angkatan Darat, sehingga amanah tersebut kelak akan dimintai pertanggungjawabannya oleh Tuhan Yang Maha Esa,” jelasnya.
Ia juga menyampaikan terima kasih dan penghargaan yang setinggi-tingginya kepada Kolonel Inf Bangun Nawoko atas dedikasi dan pengabdian yang telah ditunjukkan selama bertugas di Kostrad.
“Jaga hubungan silaturahmi dengan segenap prajurit Kostrad walaupun tidak lagi berdinas di Satuan Kostrad,” pintanya.
