Parpol Bertanggungjawab Didik Kadernya untuk “Siap Kalah”

KESBANG,COM, JAKARTA – Direktur Eksekutif Perkumpulan untuk Pemilu dan Demokrasi (Perludem) Titi Anggraini mengatakan partai politik pengusung pasangan calon dalam pemilihan kepala daerah memiliki tanggung jawab untuk mendidik kadernya supaya siap kalah dalam kontestasi pilkada.

Partai politik memiliki peran penting dalam menentukan kualitas pasangan calon yang bertarung dalam pemilihan kepala daerah baik di tingkat kabupaten, kota maupun provinsi. Selain mempersiapkan diri untuk memenangkan pilkada, partai politik juga seharusnya turut meredam emosi kader pasangan calon beserta para pendukungnya untuk menerima kekalahan.

“Ini tidak bisa dilepaskan dari tanggung jawab dan peran partai politik untuk mendewasakan masyarakat dalam berdemokrasi. Jangan sampai parpol membiarkan terjadinya provokasi, apalagi penggunaan kekerasan dalam pilkada,” kata Titi kepada Antara di Jakarta, Kamis.

Banyaknya kandidat pasangan calon kepala daerah yang tidak siap menerima kekalahan mereka dalam pilkada menyebabkan proses demokrasi di tingkat daerah menjadi tidak sehat. Peristiwa yang baru-baru ini terjadi adalah protes dari kelompok pendukung pasangan calon John Tabo-Barnabas Weya yang kalah dalam pilkada Kabupaten Tolikara.

John Tabo, yang pernah menjabat sebagai Bupati Tolikara periode 2006-2011, bersama Barnabas Weya didukung oleh empat partai politik, yakni Partai Demokrasi Indonesia Perjuangan (PDIP), Partai Hanura, Partai Golkar dan Partai Persatuan Pembangunan (PPP).

Pendukung pasangan calon John-Barnabas tersebut melakukan aksi protes ke Kantor Kementerian Dalam Negeri (Kemendagri) di Jakarta, karena mereka tidak terima terhadap hasil keputusan Mahkamah Konstitusi yang mengesahkan perolehan suara terbanyak milik pasangan calon Usman Wanimbo-Dinus Wanimbo.

Protes dari kelompok massa pendukung John-Barnabas tersebut berakhir ricuh dengan merusak bagian gedung Kemendagri hingga melukai 10 pegawai di Kementerian tersebut.

“Saya yakin para elit ikut berkontribusi dalam memanaskan suasana. Kalau elitnya punya jiwa besar dengan menghormati proses pilkada dan segala upaya hukumnya, maka kejadian seperti pilkada Tolikara itu tidak perlu terjadi,” kata Titi.

Akibat dari tindakan anarkis tersebut, Kemendagri melaporkan 15 orang yang diduga sebagai pelaku perusakan dan kekerasan dalam aksi protes pada Rabu sore (11/10) ke Polda Metro Jaya.

“Kasus perusakan kantor Kemendagri dan adanya staf Kemendagri yang terluka bagi saya seperti tertampar. Harga diri dan kehormatan saya terganggu dengan ulah orang-orang tersebut, yang mengatasnamakan warga Tolikara pendukung pasangan calon yang kalah,” kata Mendagri Tjahjo Kumolo.

Mendagri kecewa karena pihaknya telah dua kali menerima aspirasi mereka, namun massa pendukung pasangan calon John Tabo-Barnabas Weya tersebut nekat melakukan tindakan anarkis.

“Kami, Kemendagri, selama ini sudah berbaik diri dengan menerima mereka, memfasilitasi mereka dan mendengarkan aspirasi mereka. Namun, balasannya, mereka melukai saudara-saudara kita (staf Kemendagri),” ujarnya.
