Mereka menggelar aksi dengan membacakan puisi secara bergantian untuk mengecam Presiden Amerika Serikat (AS) Donald Trump atas kebijakanya memindahkan Jerusalem sebagai Ibu Kota Israel.
Sastrawan Roro Titi Sarkoro selaku koordinator aksi menuturkan, forum solidaritas seniman dan pelajar Temanggung terbentuk secara spontanitas karena terpanggil bersama dunia ikut menyuarakan rasa kemanusiaan untuk bangsa Palestina yang tertindas Zionis Israel. Menurutnya, forum ini tidak bersifat permanen dan tidak terstruktur kepengurusan.
“Hari ini (kemarin, red) kita baca dua puluh puisi. Selain dua puluh puisi tersebut, ada empat tuntutan yang ingin kita sampaikan,”
Pertama, kami mendukung sepenuhnya sikap Presiden RI Joko Widodo yang mengecam keras, mengutuk dan menolak aksi sdepihak Presiden AS Donal Trump yang mengklaim Jerussalem sebagai Ibu Kota Israel, karena jelas-jelas melanggar hukum internasional.
Selanjutnya, mendukung penuh Pemerintah RI yang selalu konsisten berpihak kepada Negara Palestina Merdeka. Lalu, mendesak kepada Persatuan Bangsa-Bangsa (PBB) untuk segera membatalkan dan menindak tegas manuver Donal Trump karena membahayakan bagi perdamaian dunia.
“Kami (solidaritas seniman dan pelajar Temanggung) mendesak Pemerintah RI untuk memutuskan hubungan diplomatik dengan AS serta mengusir Duta Besar AS untuk Indonesia dari Jakarta,” tegasnya.
Ramadlan sekretaris Lembaga Seniman Budayawan Muslimin Indonesia (Lesbumi) Kabupaten Temanggung salah satu peserta aksi menuturkan, pada aksi solidaritas ini, dirinya membaca puisi dengan judul; Palestina, Bagaimana Bisa Aku Melupakanmu.
“Isi dari puisi itu, kami ingin terus memberikan dukungan, bahwa Palestina tidak sendiri, dunia tidak tinggal diam. Kami terus bergerak dan peduli untuk Palestina, meskipun ada arogansi dari pihak tertentu,” ungkapnya. (van)
