*JAKARTA* – Ketua MPR RI sekaligus Wakil Ketua Umum Partai Golkar Bambang Soesatyo mengungkapkan banyak entitas internasional yang mengagumi Pancasila. Pidato Presiden Soekarno saat memperkenalkan Pancasila di hadapan Kongres Amerika Serikat pada tahun 1956, misalnya, disambut gegap gempita segenap anggota Kongres.

Pimpinan Komunitas Sant Edigio, organisasi internasional yang berpusat di Roma, Italia, yang memiliki keanggotaan mencakup 73 negara Profesor Marco Impagliazzo menyatakan bahwa Pancasila dengan nilai-nilai universal yang dikandungnya, layak diangkat sebagai rujukan peradaban dunia. Akademisi dari Universitas Dortmund Jerman, Profesor Thomas Meyer mengungkapkan bahwa Pancasila telah menjadi bahan kajian akademisi di Eropa. Ideologi Pancasila dinilai lebih baik daripada faham neo-liberalisme dan fundamentalisme keagamaan yang menjadi kekuatan politik terbesar pada abad 21.

“Profesor ilmu politik di University of Wisconsin-Madison Amerika Serikat, Donald K. Emmerson menyatakan bahwa kunci sukses Indonesia membangun pluralisme di tengah keberagaman identitas budaya, adalah adanya ideologi Pancasila dan semboyan Bhinneka Tunggal Ika. Dengan keduanya, Indonesia juga dinilai dapat menjadi jembatan peradaban bagi dunia dalam memaknai pluralisme,” ujar Bamsoet dalam peluncuran buku ‘Ferry Mursyidan Baldan. Sang Politisi Negarawan’, sekaligus Sosialisasi Empat Pilar MPR RI, di Gedung Nusantara IV MPR/DPR/DPD RI, Jakarta, Senin (10/4/23).

Turut hadir antara lain, Hanifah Husein (istri almarhum Ferry Mursyidan Baldan), Anggota DPR RI Fraksi Partai Golkar Darul Siska, Pendiri HIPMI dan mantan Menteri Tenaga Kerja, serta Menteri Pariwisata, Seni dan Budaya Abdul Latief dan Peneliti Senior Badan Riset dan Inovasi Nasional Prof. Siti Zuhro.

Ketua DPR RI ke-20 dan mantan Ketua Komisi III DPR RI bidang Hukum, HAM, dan Keamanan ini menambahkan, ironisnya Pancasila yang begitu dikagumi dan disanjung dunia internasional, justru kini menghadapi resistensi dari dalam negeri sendiri. Tidak sedikit dari kalangan masyarakat yang mulai menyangsikan, bahkan menegasikan nilai-nilai luhur Pancasila.

“Saya sepakat dengan pandangan Mas Ferry Mursyidan Baldan, salah satu alasan atas mulai memudarnya nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam kehidupan masyarakat yakni karena minimnya tokok-tokoh negarawan yang dapat dijadikan panutan dalam pengamalan nilai-nilai Pancasila. Menyebabkan nilai-nilai luhur Pancasila hanya nampak di permukaan, belum membumi, dan masih miskin dalam manifestasi dan keteladanan,” kata Bamsoet.

Wakil Ketua Umum Pemuda Pancasila dan Wakil Ketua Umum FKPPI ini menjelaskan, dalam konteks manifestasi dan keteladanan nilai-nilai luhur kebangsaan inilah, peluncuran buku tentang almarhum Ferry Mursyidan Baldan menemukan kontekstualitas dan relevansinya. Tujuan peluncuran buku ini juga memiliki spirit yang sama, yaitu untuk mewariskan nilai-nilai luhur kebangsaan yang telah diteladankan oleh almarhum semasa hidupnya.

“Saya bersyukur menjadi salah satu dari sekian banyak sahabat yang berkesempatan mengenal sosok almarhum. Baik sebagai aktivis mahasiswa dan pimpinan organisasi kepemudaan seperti HMI, Kosgoro, AMPI dan Partai Golkar, sebagai tokoh politik, anggota MPR RI, maupun sebagai menteri kabinet,” jelas Bamsoet.

Wakil Ketua Umum SOKSI dan Kepala Badan Hubungan Penegakan Hukum, Pertahanan dan Keamanan KADIN Indonesia ini menerangkan, sebagai aktivis, almarhum Ferry adalah sosok yang konsisten menjaga idealisme. Pemikiran kritis almarhum selalu dilandasi itikad baik, untuk tidak sekedar mengoreksi, namun juga menawarkan solusi. Sebagai pimpinan organisasi kepemudaan, alamarhum selalu memberikan teladan, dorongan dan motivasi, serta menjadi inspirasi bagi segenap anggota dalam menjalankan roda organisasi.

Sebagai tokoh politik, almarhum menjadi figur yang taat asas dan taat hukum. Memiliki pandangan visioner dan senantiasa menempatkan kepentingan bangsa dan negara sebagai prioritas utama. Sebagai anggota MPR, almarhum memiliki keteguhan komitmen dalam menjalankan berbagai tugas konstitusionalnya sebagai anggota parlemen.
