Salah satunya mematangkan persiapan Rapat Gabungan MPR RI yang akan datang tentang rencana pelaksanaan Sidang Paripurna MPR RI yang rencananya akan digelar Oktober 2022 mendatang guna meminta persetujuan untuk penetapan Panitia AdHoc yang bertugas membahas tentang bentuk hukum dan rancangan substansi Pokok-Pokok Haluan Negara (PPHN).
“Pertemuan informal dengan suasana santai sambil makan malam ini rutin kita selenggarakan secara berkala. Sebelumnya saya yang menjadi tuan rumah dengan menjamu rekan-rekan pimpinan MPR RI di tempat saya Tamarind & Lime Restoran Kebayoran Baru. Kini Ibu Lestari Moerdijat yang menjadi rumah, menjamu kita di Nasdem Lounge & Restourant. Melalui pertemuan informal dengan suasana yang rileks, kita bisa saling terbuka satu sama lain. Sehingga mudah menyamakan persepsi, sekaligus mudah mencari solusi atas berbagai permasalahan yang dihadapi,” ujar Bamsoet usai melakukan pertemuan informal dengan para pimpinan MPR RI, di Nasdem Lounge, Jakarta Minggu malam (4/9/22).
Turut hadir para Wakil Ketua MPR RI antara lain Ahmad Basarah, Lestari Moerdijat, Jazilul Fawaid, Syarief Hasan, Hidayat Nur Wahid, dan Fadel Muhammad. Sedangkan Yandri Susanto izin umroh, Ahmad Muzani dan Arsul Sani izin sedang ada keperluan lain yang tak bisa ditinggalkan.
Ketua DPR RI ke-20 sekaligus mantan Ketua Komisi III DPR RI bidang Hukum, HAM, dan Keamanan ini menjelaskan, saat ini bangsa Indonesia sudah memasuki masa transisi menuju tahun politik. Diharapkan dinamika dan kontestasi politik tetap terjaga, sehingga tidak mengganggu stabilitas sektor perekonomian yang saat ini sedang melakukan pemulihan.
“Sebagai Rumah Kebangsaan sekaligus penjaga iklim cuaca politik, MPR RI senantiasa mendorong kedewasaan dalam berpolitik dan kedewasaan dalam berdemokrasi dari segenap kontestan Pemilu, untuk menjunjung tinggi nilai-nilai demokrasi, serta memegang teguh komitmen dan kesadaran kolektif, bahwa muara akhir dari kontestasi politik adalah terwujudnya pemerintahan negara yang mampu melindungi seluruh rakyat, memberikan rasa aman, dan mewujudkan kesejahteraan yang berkeadilan,” jelas Bamsoet.
Wakil Ketua Umum Partai Golkar sekaligus Kepala Badan Hubungan Penegakan Hukum, Pertahanan dan Keamanan KADIN Indonesia ini menerangkan, apapun hasil daripada pesta demokrasi nanti, tidak boleh menjadi langkah mundur atau mengoreksi berbagai capaian kemajuan yang telah diraih. Karenanya, diharapkan MPR bisa menuntaskan hadirnya Pokok-Pokok Haluan Negara yang akan menjadi pemandu arah bagi pembangunan nasional jangka panjang serta mengikat komitmen segenap komponen bangsa.
