Program besar GMRI dan Posko Negarawan bersama Lembaga Nusantara Senter hendak membangun Universitas Nusantara yang berbasis kearifan lokal khas Nusantara semakin mengarah pada realisasinya yang nyata.
Sejumlah lahan yang menjadi alternatif pilihan, mulai di Puncak Selatan, Bogor, di Kertajati, Cirebon dan Tanjung Lesung, Banten tinggal menunggu keinginan keputusan pihak investor yang bersedia menjadi rekanan mewujudkan Universitas Nusantara yang berkelas Internasional dan merupakan satu-satunya perguruan tinggi yang mengacu pada nilai-nilai tradisi dan budaya serta kearifan lokal Nusantara.
Paparan khusus tentang Universitas Nusantara ini berlangsung di De Center, Jl. Dharmawangsa II No. 93, Kebayoran Baru, Jakarta Selatan, pada hari Rabu, 9 Februari 2023.
Paparan Prof. Yudhie Haryono sejatinya perguruan tinggi yang akan memperkukuh tradisi dan budaya warisan para leluhur pada masa silam itu, telah digagas sejak beberapa tahun lalu.
Lahan 176 hektar di Kertajati, Cirebon, Jawa Barat menjadi pilihan unggulan sementara, meski lahan di Tanjung Lesung, Banten justru memiliki nilai lebih, kecuali telah menjadi obyek wisata alam juga sudah dilengkapi landasan pacu pesawat terbang.
Usulan Darma lokasi Universitas Nusantara itu idealnya menyatu dengan Ibu Kota Jawa Barat yang juga pernah diwacanakan untuk pindah ke kawasan Kerta Jati, Cirebon. Sehingga sebagai Perguruan tinggi yang mengusung budaya dan wisata Nusantara dapat memiliki daya dukung yang lengkap, apalagi kelak hendak ditampilkan juga semacam komplek keraton yang pernah ada dan berjaya di Nusantara.
Universitas yang ditopang oleh smart city mengedepankan ilmu pengetahuan serta pemahaman yang mendalam tentang seluk beluk maritim, pertanian yang khas hingga jurusan kedokteran dan pengobatan berbasis herbal, hingga beragam kekayaan alam yang dapat dijadikan obat-obatan bisa ditanam dan diolah serta dikembangkan secara terpusat di Universitas Nusantara.
Demikian pula tentang kesenian daerah yang khas dan memiliki nilai budaya yang tinggi, akan disediakan juga semacam fakultas tersendiri yang melakukan studi serta kajian yang mendalami seluk beluk keragaman seni budaya Nusantara, hingga mampu menjadi lentera bagi budaya manusia di dunia.
Melalui Unversitas Nusantara, Indonesia diharap akan kembali menjadi negara maritim dan agraris yang berjaya, seperti yang pernah diraih pada masa lampau, sehingga sebagai mercu suar dunia dapat menyemburkan pelangi indah di jagat.
Ir. Syamsul Hadi dari Lembaga Kajian Nawacita setuju untuk menindaklanjuti rencana pembangunan Universitas Nusantara dengan lebih serius agar dapat segera terwujud. Sementara Prof. Nanik menilai gagasan Prof. Yudhie Haryono untuk mewujudkan Universitas Nusantara sangat jenius, dan perlu segera kita wujudkan bersama agar dapat menjawab masalah bangsa yang sudah kebablasan, tidak karu-karuan ini, tandasnya.
Universitas Nusantara yang berbasis koperasi ini, memang memberi jaminan pada kelulusannya untuk mendapat lapangan kerja. Demikian juga fasilitas Universitas Nusantara dirancang lengkap dengan miniatur semua kerajaan dengan segala atribut serta keterangan maupun sejarah dan literatur tentang kerajaan yang pernah ada di Nusantara.
Sementara Sri Eko Sriyanto Galgendu yang telah melakukan pembicaraan dengan berbagai pihak sangat optimis Universitas Nusantara dapat segera diwujudkan. Meski begitu, gagasan besar GMRI bersama Posko Negarawan tetap mempersiapkan pertemuan spiritual persaudaraan bangsa-bangsa dunia denga Candi Brobudur sebagai simbol dan karya anak-anak bangsa yang akan menjadi cahaya dunia dari bumi Nusantara. Dan candi Brobudur sebagai mahkota Ummat Budha akan menjadi kebanggaan bangsa Indonesia yang tidak dimiliki oleh bangsa-bangsa lain di dunia.
Karena itu, Candi Brobudur, tandasnya sebagai literasi dalam bentuk batu-batuan yang tersusun artistik dan berkisah tentang sejarah masa silam bangsa Nusantara yang pernah berjaya pada masa itu, patut lebih dikenal dan dipahami oleh bangsa-bangsa yang ada di dunia.
Selaras dengan itu, hasil pertemuan dan kesepakatan dalam pertemuan lintas profesi di De Center Kebayoran Baru, 9 Februari 2023 ini akan dilanjutkan dengan melengkapi persyaratan pelaksanaan program pembangunan Universitas Nusantara yang kelak akan menjadi bagian dari tonggak peradaban baru manusia di muka bumi.
