Di penghujung tahun 1995 ketika saya baru beberapa minggu datang dari Jerman, di rumah Mas Sri Bintang Pamungkas telah kedatangan tamu. Waktu itu Mas Bintang sedang berada di lantai atas rumahnya sedang asyik ketak-ketik materi yang akan disampaikannya di pengadilan atas kasus politiknya di Jerman, dan saya sedang asyik pula baca-baca koran dan majalah di salah satu kamar dekat ruang kerja beliau. “Dik Saiful, dibawah sepertinya lagi ada tamu. Tolong temui dulu mereka”. Ucap Mas Bintang.
Sayapun kemudian turun melalui tangga dan menemui mereka. Tamu itu dua orang pemuda yang kepalanya sama-sama gundul, dan ternyata kedua-duanya merupakan aktivis organisasi massa. Saya tanya nama mereka satu persatu, asal dari mana dan keperluannya apa. Lalu mereka memperkenalkan diri masing-masing, yang satu namanya Ailin dan yang kedua namanya Pius Lustrilanang, yang kelak menjadi salah satu tokoh terkemuka Aktivis ’98. Inilah kisah awal perjumpaan saya dengan Pius yang akan saya kisahkan disini.
Beberapa bulan telah berlalu dan tahun sudah berganti, yakni 1996. Suatu ketika saya yang saat itu tinggal di Bandung dan bolak-balik ke Jakarta tiap seminggu sekali untuk menemani perjuangan Mas Bintang di Jakarta, saya telah diundang rapat oleh komunitas Aktivis Bandung di Jalan Padjajaran untuk membahas rencana aksi demo melawan Rezim Soeharto. Diluar dugaan ternyata di sebelah sudut ruangan tempat kami rapat, ada Pius yang duduk terdiam. Dalam hati saya berkata, lho…itu kan orang yang pernah ketemu dengan saya di rumahnya Mas Bintang beberapa bulan lalu.
Sepintas saya melihat Pius ini orangnya sangat pendiam dan jarang berbicara. Dia mendengarkan terus obrolan kami soal rencana aksi, namun ketika giliran dia bicara, waooo tajam sekali. Disini saya mulai tau kualitas pemikiran seorang demonstran Indonesia yang sesungguhnya, karena jujur saja saat itu saya masih tergolong baru dalam konteks perjuangan di Tanah air, karena sebelumnya saya merupakan aktivis yang lebih banyak melakukan aksi dan manuver politik di Berlin Jerman. Maka ketika saya pulang kembali ke Tanah air, saya perlu mempelajari situasi dunia pergerakan aktivis di dalam negeri ini.
“Ternyata si Gundul yang saya temui di rumah Mas Bintang dulu ini oke juga, pikirannya tajam dan penuh wibawa. Tak heran meski dia jarang bicara namun sekali bicara, buah pikirannya menjadi kesimpulan rapat kami semua. Sepertinya saya harus menjadikannya sahabat agar bacaan saya terhadap alam pikir Aktivis Indonesia bisa lebih lengkap”. Suara saya dalam hati. Rapatpun selesai, dan ternyata saya dan Pius sama-sama mendekat.”Hai, kita bertemu lagi disini. Emangnya Sampeyan tinggal di Bandung juga Mas?”. Tanya saya ke Pius. “Iya. Kan dulu sudah saya bilang saya tinggal di Bandung”. Jawab Pius. “Sama dong. Maklum, orang-orang yang datang ke rumah Mas Bintang di Jakarta itu banyak, jadi saya suka lupa siapa saja yang pernah kenalan dengan saya disana”. Jawab saya.
Waktu demi waktu terus berlalu, tak terasa pertemuan demi pertemuan terbatas saya dengan Pius semakin intensif. Kami yang awalnya selalu rapat dengan puluhan orang, menjadi hanya tiga atau empat sampai lima orang. Saya, Pius, Ailin, Ferdi Semaun dan Lukman. Tak jarang saya sambil menunggu teman lainnya hadir, saya berdiskusi berdua dengan Pius. Dan kami biasa berdiskusi dengan Pius di Cihampelas Bandung itu sampai larut malam, bahkan sampai subuh. Kami sering tukar menukar informasi soal pergerakan aktivis di Indonesia dan di Eropa, dan dari sanalah kami sama-sama dapat membuat visi perjuangan ke depan untuk Indonesia.
Tahun telah bergerak memasuki 1998, situasi politik di Tanah air terasa semakin menegangkan. Di Kantor LBH di Jalan Kebunbibit Bandung, tempat Teh Hemasari Dharmabumi biasa mengkoordinir rapat teman-teman Aktivis Bandung, saya dan Pius bertemu. Dan entah mengapa kami tiba-tiba sama-sama punya firasat, bahwa akan terjadi sesuatu pada kami dan beberapa aktivis lainnya. “Awas, kita semua harus waspada, sepertinya Rezim Soeharto akan mulai kasar ke kita”. Saya lupa kata-kata ini keluar dari mulut saya atau mulut Pius. Yang jelas saya masih ingat, Pius mengingatkan saya agar tidak meninggalkan Bandung dulu untuk sementara waktu, sebab kemungkinan akan ada penculikan aktivis.
Namun dari awal saya pribadi sudah siap untuk menerima resiko apapun dari perjuangan ini. Meminjam kata-kata sahabat seperjuangan saya yang lainnya, yakni Budiman Sudjatmiko, kita sebagai Aktivis harus siap diburu, dibui atau dibunuh. Lalu saya jawab ke Pius,”Bissmillahirrahmanirrahim, saya sudah siap lahir batin untuk menerima resiko apapun Us. Sampeyan juga harus hati-hati dan waspada ya, sebisa mungkin kita berkumpul tiap minggu minimal dua kali ya, biar kita bisa saling memantau”. Tak seberapa lama dari pertemuan itu, yakni di Tanggal 4 Februari 1998, Pius hilang dan dinyatakan telah diculik. Kabar yang sangat mengejutkan sekali sampai saya harus membaca Sholawat Nabi tiap saat untuk diberikan keselamatan.
Saya, Ailin dan Lukman, serta Ferdi Semaunpun melakukan aksi berkali-kali di Monumen Perjuangan Bandung untuk mendesak Rezim Soeharto segera membebaskan Pius Lustrilanang. Saat itu kami melakukan aksi dengan bendera Aliansi Demokrasi Rakyat (ALDERA) yang selama ini dipimpin Pius. Jangan ditanya yang berani aksi saat itu hanya beberapa orang, namun aparat keamanannya jauh lebih banyak. Kanan kiri kami sepertinya semuanya intel. Namun puji syukur, berkat lobi-lobi kami yang baik, tak ada seorang aparat keamananpun yang melukai kami, meskipun di lain waktu ada dari kami juga yang ditangkap.
Pius Lustrilanang Sang Mutiara Hitam Aktivis “98 yang diculik di depan RS Ciptomangunkusumo selama dua bulan itupun akhirnya dibebaskan. Kami semuanya legah dan riang gembira. Namun kami juga tertawa glegekkan ketika tiba-tiba melihat Pius tampil di Tv pakai Kalung Salib. “Wah, sahabat kita sekarang jadi religius dan tenar euy”. Kata saya pada teman-teman lainnya. Tak seberapa lama saya dan kawan-kawan yang masih tinggal di Jermanpun menyarankan Pius untuk refreshing dulu ke Eropa, biar trauma penculikannya segera hilang. Piuspun akhirnya terbang kesana juga untuk beberapa saat.
Sepulang Pius dari Eropa kami bertemu lagi di Tasikmalaya untuk memenuhi undangan tokoh Aktivis Pasundan, Kang Agustiana. Kami berdiskusi di Kafe Basajan Tasikmalaya yang dihadiri Bang Hendardi dari YLBHI Jakarta, dan kami bermalam disalah satu hotel disana. Esok paginya kami jalan-jalan di Kota Tasikmalaya. Beberapa bulan kemudian kami mengadakan pendidikan politik di Maribaya Lembang tiga hari tiga malam, non stop. Peristiwa inilah yang menjadikan saya letih karena jarang tidur hingga saya mengalami kecelakaan bermotor di Jalan Sudirman Bandung. Sempat tidak sadarkan diri lalu dirawat di RS. Rajawali Bandung hampir seminggu.
Tahun demi tahun telah berlalu, dan Sang Mutiara Hitam Aktivis ’98 ini semakin menunjukkan kelasnya. Pius masuk PDIP dan membuat gerakan pembaharuan di PDIP, hingga Pius dipecat dari PDIP. Tak kehilangan akal, Piuspun membentuk partai baru, namun karena tidak lolos verifikasi KPU, Pius terpaksa mengikuti ajakan politisi Partai Gerindra dan menjadi pengurus disana. Pius nyaleg dan terpilih menjadi Anggota DPR RI Periode 2009-2014. Di Pemilu 2014 Pius nyaleg lagi dan terpilih lagi menjadi Anggota DPR Periode 2014-2019. Dalam Pemilu 2019 Pius nyaleg lagi namun kali ini Pius tidak lolos. Tapi bukan Pius namanya jika dia tidak kehilangan akal. Pius kemudian mencalonkan diri sebagai Anggota Badan Pemeriksa Keuangan (BPK) R.I dan terpilih dengan suara terbanyak dari empat orang calon lainnya.
Luar biasa memang manuver-manuver politik sahabat saya ini. Dan silahkan percaya atau tidak, sebelumnya saya tidak pernah menghubungi Pius selama Pius menjadi Anggota DPR. Karena apa? Karena saya masih tidak mau menerima, bagaimana bisa orang yang memimpin penculikkannya bisa dia jadikan sahabat baru dan dia jadikan pemimpin, yakni Prabowo Subianto. Akan tetapi setelah saya renung-renungkan, bisa jadi pilihan Pius ke Partai Gerindra dan menjadi pengikut Prabowo itu pilihan yang tepat, sebab nyatanya dengan menjadi Politisi Gerindra, Pius bisa dengan mudah dan leluasa menjalankan ide-idenya. Coba kalau Pius seperti saya, yang tidak mudah mau bergabung dengan lawan-lawan politiknya, maka Pius akan terus menerus berada diluar sistem dan hanya bisa meledakkan kekesalan demi kekesalannya ke udara. Bravo untuk Pius Lustrilanang yang kembali menjadi sahabatku semenjak masuk menjadi Anggota BPK ! Semoga sukses selamanya…(SHE).
