Medan.Penyidik Ditkrimsus Polda Sumatera Utara (Sumut) menyegel sejumlah tempat judi yang sempat digerebek di Kompleks Cemara Asri, Deli Serdang. Penyegelan dilakukan dalam rangka pengawasan terkait pengenaan pasal tindak pidana pencucian uang (TPPU) pada kasus perjudian tersebut.

“Benar, ada sejumlah ruko sebagai tempat praktek perjudian online milik tersangka bos judi online AP disegel penyidik, Penyegelan itu terkait pengenaan pasal TPPU,” kata Kabid Humas Polda Sumut, Kombes Hadi Wahyudi, Selasa (20/9/2022).

Hadi mengatakan petugas terus melakukan penyidikan atas kasus judi online terbesar di Sumut berkedok kafe itu. Sejauh ini, penyidik telah menetapkan dua orang tersangka.

Meraka adalah ABK alias Jonni selaku pemilik tempat judi tersebut dan anak buahnya Niko Prasetia sebagai pimpinan operator judi online.

Untuk Niko, penyidik telah melimpahkan berkas perkaranya tahap pertama ke kejaksaan. Sedangkan Apin BK alias Jonni, telah dicekal permanen oleh Ditjen Imigrasi dan terus diburu walau telah kabur ke Singapura.

Selain itu, Hadi mengatakan untuk Apin BK tak hanya dijerat dengan pasal perjudian. Bos judi online juga bakal dijerat dengan pasal TPPU.

“Selain pasal perjudian online penyidik juga menerapkan pasal tindak pidana pencucian uang (TPPU),” sebut Hadi.(AVID/r)
