PPATK Temukan Transfer Janggal WNI Diduga Penghindaran Pajak

KESBANG.COM, JAKARTA – Pusat Pelaporan dan Analisis Transaksi Keuangan menyatakan terdapat dugaan bahwa transfer janggal nasabah Indonesia di Standard Chartered Plc sebesar 1,4 miliar dolar AS dari wilayah Guernsey ke Singapura untuk menggelapkan dan menghindari kewajiban pajak (tax evasion).

Jika dikonversi ke rupiah, jumlah transfer dana tersebut mencapai Rp18,8 triliun. “Hasil analis kami sudah dikirim ke Direktorat Jenderal Pajak (DJP) Kemenkeu karena memang dugaan sementara itu adalah tax evasion (tax fraud),” kata Wakil Ketua PPATK Dian Ediana Rae kepada ANTARA saat dihubungi di Jakarta, Senin.

Dian menegaskan bahwa pelanggaran hukum dengan menghindari kewajiban pajak (tax evasion) masih bersifat dugaan sementara. Motif pasti nasabah tersebut harus menunggu penyelidikan yang dilakukan DJP.

Dian mengatakan PPATK sudah mengendus transfer dana yang janggal ini sejak beberapa bulan lalu. Dia mengatakan transfer dana besar ini melibatkan sejumlah perusahaan dan pengusaha WNI.

Dia enggan menjelaskan lebih lanjut, dengan alasan masih berkoordinasi dengan DJP dan menunggu hasil penyelidikan DJP.

PPATK juga, kata Dian, masih mendalami, apakah transfer dana tersebut terindikasi sebagai modus Pencucian Uang.

“Agar tidak menimbulkan simpang siur, dan tidak menimbulkan kegaduhan yang tidak perlu, lebih baik kita tunggu dulu hasil investigasi DJP, dan keterangan yang akan disampaikan mereka,” ujar dia.

Merujuk pada laporan Bloomberg dan South China Morning Post, regulator di Eropa dan Asia sedang melakukan investigasi terhadap Standard Chartered Plc atas transfer dana milik nasabah khusus sebesar 1,4 miliar dolar AS dari Guernsey, yang merupakan daerah kekuasaan Inggris, ke Singapura pada akhir 2015.

Dalam laporan itu disebutkan, aset yang ditransfer tersebut sebagain besar milik nasabah Indonesia.

Regulator juga mendapat laporan adanya kecurigaan terhadap staf bank mengenai transfer tersebut.

Transfer tersebt dilakukan jelang Guernsey menerapakan “Common Reporting Standard”, sebuah kesepakatan global pertukaran informasi secara otomatis terkait pajak.

Investigasi juga dikabarkan tengah dilakukan oleh bank sentral Singapura yaitu Monetary Authority of Singapura (MAS) dan otoritas keuangan Guernsey yaitu Guernsey’s Financial Service Commission. (Ant/Foto: Ist)
