Presiden Joko Widodo bertolak menuju Provinsi Sulawesi Utara untuk melakukan kunjungan kerja. Dengan menggunakan pesawat kepresidenan Indonesia-1, Presiden dan rombongan lepas landas dari Pangkalan TNI AU Halim Perdanakusuma, Jakarta, pada Rabu, 18 Januari 2023, sekitar pukul 18.30 WIB.

Setibanya di Bandara Internasional Sam Ratulangi, Kota Manado, Presiden disambut oleh Gubernur Sulawesi Utara Olly Dondokambey, Pangdam XIII/Merdeka Mayjen TNI Alfret Denny Djoike Tuejeh, Kapolda Sulawesi Utara Irjen Pol. Setyo Budiyanto, Danlantamal VIII/Manado Laksma TNI Nouldy J. Tangka, Danlanud Sam Ratulangi Marsma TNI Mohammad Satriyo Utomo, dan Kepala Kantor Kamla Zona Maritim Tengah Laksma Bakamla Hanarko Djodi Pamungkas.

Selanjutnya, Presiden menuju hotel tempatnya bermalam dan akan melanjutkan kunjungan kerja esok hari. Presiden antara lain akan meresmikan infrastruktur dan mengunjungi beberapa pasar.

Turut mendampingi Presiden dalam penerbangan menuju Sulawesi Utara yakni Sekretaris Kabinet Pramono Anung, Sekretaris Militer Presiden Laksda TNI Hersan, Komandan Paspampres Marsda TNI Wahyu Hidayat Sudjatmiko, dan Deputi Bidang Protokol, Pers, dan Media Sekretariat Presiden Bey Machmudin.(Biro Pers, Media, dan Informasi Sekretariat Presiden)
