Presiden Jokowi Terima Kunjungan Kehormatan Menlu Serbia

Presiden Joko Widodo menerima kunjungan kehormatan Menteri Luar Negeri Serbia Nikola Selakovic bersama delegasi terbatas di Istana Merdeka, Jakarta, pada Senin, 23 Mei 2022. Menteri Luar Negeri Retno Marsudi dalam keterangannya usai pertemuan mengatakan bahwa Indonesia merupakan salah satu mitra penting bagi Serbia sehingga hubungan kerja sama kedua negara harus terus ditingkatkan.

“Serbia mengatakan bahwa Indonesia adalah salah satu mitra yang paling disegani, dihormati oleh Serbia dan merupakan komitmen Serbia untuk terus meningkatkan hubungan dengan Indonesia,” ujar Menlu Retno yang turut mendampingi Presiden Jokowi dalam pertemuan tersebut.

Salah satu bentuk kerja sama yang dibahas dalam pertemuan tersebut adalah komitmen Serbia sebagai salah satu penghasil gandum terbesar di wilayah Eropa untuk dapat terus mengekspor gandum ke Indonesia. Bahkan, Menlu Serbia juga akan bertemu dengan pengusaha atau BUMN Tanah Air untuk membahas lebih lanjut mengenai komitmen tersebut.

“Jadi detailnya akan dibahas pada sore hari ini,” ungkap Menlu Retno.

Selain gandum, Presiden Jokowi dan Menlu Serbia juga membahas terkait jumlah ekspor minyak sawit mentah atau _crude palm oil_ (CPO) dari Indonesia ke Serbia yang mengalami peningkatan dari waktu ke waktu. Menurut Menlu Retno, saat ini impor CPO Serbia dari Indonesia persentasenya sudah mencapai 30 persen.

“Jadi 30 persen impor CPO Serbia dari luar adalah CPO dari Indonesia,” tutur Retno.

Terakhir, Presiden Jokowi dan Menlu Serbia juga membahas mengenai keinginan Serbia untuk dapat mengambil tenaga kerja _semi-skilled_ dari Indonesia untuk mengisi beberapa bidang pekerjaan seperti konstruksi, makanan dan minuman, hingga hotelier.

“Jadi sekali lagi gandum, CPO, dan kerja sama dalam rangka penempatan tenaga kerja Indonesia di Serbia,” tandasnya.

Turut mendampingi Presiden dalam pertemuan tersebut yaitu Sekretaris Kabinet Pramono Anung.
