KESBANG.COM JAKARTA – Guru Besar Sosiologi Agama Universitas Islam Negeri Syarif Hidayatulah Jakarta Profesor Bambang Pranowo mengatakan Pancasila hendaknya tak sekadar retorika, tetapi nilai-nilainya harus benar-benar dibumikan.

“Artinya, lima sila yang ada di Pancasila harus diwujudkan dalam kehidupan masyarakat dan bernegara,” kata Bambang di Jakarta, Selasa.

Selama pengamalan sila-sila Pancasila itu belum terwujud di masyarakat dan di dalam penyelenggaraan negara, kata Bambang, jangan berharap Indonesia bisa menjadi negara yang damai, adil, dan makmur.

“Adanya komunitas yang ingin mengganti Pancasila itu karena merasa keadilan belum terwujud. Di mana pun kalau keadilan tidak terwujud, pasti akan mengundang masalah,” katanya.

Ia mengatakan bahwa semua aspek kehidupan harus adil dan berperikemanusiaan. Ia mencontohkan Australia yang notabene tidak memiliki Pancasila tetapi justru menerapkan prinsip keadilan termasuk terkait dengan pembangunan gedung.

Di Australia, kata Bambang, bila ada bangunan bertingkat yang tidak bisa dimasuki orang yang menggunakan kursi roda, dipastikan tidak akan mendapatkan izin.

“Maunya Pancasila itu dibegitukan. Sekarang malah banyak orang menuduh orang lain tidak Pancasilais, tapi dia sendiri malah korupsi,” kata Bambang.

Terkait dengan Pancasila sebagai dasar negara menurut Bambang sudah selesai ketika dirumuskan oleh pendiri bangsa sehingga tidak perlu diperdebatkan lagi.

“Pancasila itu adalah kompromi antara kaum nasionalis Islam dengan nasionalis sekuler pada waktu itu,” katanya. (Ant)
