JAKARTA – Sejumlah seniman yang tergabung dalam komunitas pelestarian budaya Gentra Lestari Budaya (GLB) dari berbagai daerah mendatangi kantor Badan Nasional Pengelola Perbatasan (BNPP) di Jakarta, Senin (3/4/2023) kemarin.

Kedatangan para seniman tersebut turut mendukung kampanye pengembangan kawasan perbatasan BNPP yang dikepalai Menteri Dalam Negeri (Mendagri), sebagai perekat kesatuan bangsa.

Prof. Zudan Arif Fakrulloh menyambut hangat kedatangan para seniman lintas disiplin seni baik pemain film, musisi etnik dan lainnya.

Ia menjelaskan salah satu misi yang diemban oleh Presiden Jokowi, yakni membanjiri kawasan perbatasan dengan produk Indonesia termasuk dengan produk kesenian beriringan dengan semangat membangun infrastruktur.

“Produk itu bukan hanya kebutuhan pokok semata tetapi bisa juga dengan budaya. BNPP juga menginginkan menggerakan gairah ekonomi masyarakat dengan menarik kunjungan pariwisata di perbatasan lewat pentas musik daerah dan kebudayaan,” jelas Zudan.

Zudan menjelaskan, BNPP juga mendukung kolaborasi-kolaborasi dengan pihak lainnya dalam membangkitkan semangat pariwisata yang bisa memantik perekonomian warga. Ia mencontohkan festival Asmat di Papua yang mampu membawa pengaruh dari sektor pariwisata.

“Festival Asmat di Papua dilaksanakan berhari-hari dan mampu membawa pengaruh pariwisata, hingga turis asing,” lanjutnya.

Ketua Umum Dewan Pakar Budaya GLB, Yoyon Darsono menjelaskan bahwa kesiapan dalam kerja sama dengan BNPP dalam mengadakan festival perbatasan.

Ia mengatakan budaya bisa sebagai pelekat kesatuan dan persatuan bangsa Indonesia dan juga menjadi kampanye untuk perdamaian melalui kolaborasi silang pandang pentas budaya dalam festival.

“Kami terbuka, termasuk mengadakan festival di perbatasan Malaysia, di mana pernah terjadi klaim sepihak Reog Ponorogo yang dibawa sendiri oleh orang bangsa Indonesia yang lama menetap di Malaysia,” jelasnya.
