Puan: Sebagai Sokoguru Perekonomian, Koperasi Harus Adaptif Ikuti Kemajuan Zaman

Ketua DPR RI Puan Maharani berharap Koperasi bisa terus berkembang sebagai penggerak perekonomian Indonesia. Di peringatan Hari Koperasi yang jatuh setiap tanggal 12 Juli, Puan mendorong agar Koperasi senantiasa adaptif mengikuti perkembangan zaman.

“Koperasi oleh para pendiri bangsa kita dirancang sebagai sokoguru perekonomian nasional. Saya berharap agar Koperasi Indonesia tidak boleh tertinggal kereta kemajuan zaman,” kata Puan.

Hal tersebut disampaikannya dalam Puncak Acara Hari Koperasi ke-75 yang diselenggarakan oleh Dewan Koperasi Indonesia di Denpasar, Bali, Kamis (14/7/2022). Puan hadir secara virtual.

“Koperasi menjadi usaha bersama untuk mewujudkan kemakmuran bersama. Koperasi tumbuh dari gerakan kebangsaan sesuai usaha bersama berdasarkan azas kekeluargaan. Tumbuh di atas kejujuran, kesukarelaan, tolong menolong, dan gotong royong,” tutur mantan Menko PMK itu.

“Koperasi mendidik kita untuk percaya pada kekuatan sendiri, kekuatan untuk menempa ekonomi rakyat yang lemah menjadi kuat,” imbuh Puan.

Peringatan Hari Koperasi Nasional 2022 mengangkat tema ‘Transformasi Koperasi Untuk Ekonomi Berkelanjutan’. Oleh karenanya, menurut Puan, diperlukan upaya untuk membuat koperasi selalu relevan dengan tantangan zaman terbaru mengingat ekonomi saat ini sudah berkembang begitu cepat dan bentuk-bentuknya pun semakin kompleks.

“Dulu perkembangan ekonomi banyak yang berbasis pada sumber daya alam. Kemudian kita melihat pesatnya perkembangan ekonomi digital seperti berbagai start-up yang menjadi kantung baru pertumbuhan,” sebutnya.

“Lalu sekarang pun ekonomi digital juga sedang mengalami penyesuaian dan dunia seperti sedang menanti bentuk ekonomi yang berikutnya akan seperti apa,” tambah Puan.

Mantan Menko PMK itu menilai, Koperasi harus menjadi lokomotif kemajuan ekonomi bangsa agar tidak ketinggalan kereta kemajuan zaman. Apalagi, sebut Puan, jumlah koperasi di Indonesia selalu meningkat setiap tahunnya dengan jumlah totalnya per tahun 2021 mencapai 127.846 (data BPS).

“Koperasi Indonesia harus bisa cepat beradaptasi, gesit, kreatif, inovatif, dan tidak takut bersaing dengan pelaku ekonomi lainnya,” tegas Cucu Proklamator RI Bung Karno tersebut.

Di peringatan Hari Koperasi Nasional 2022, Puan mengajak agar Koperasi di Indonesia selalu mengingat jati dirinya sebagai bentuk ekonomi gotong royong. Menurutnya, semua Koperasi di Indonesia harus membantu satu sama lain sehingga dapat maju bersama.

“Dengan tagline ‘Gerakan Ayo Berkoperasi dalam rangka mendukung Program Revolusi Mental’, semua koperasi di Indonesia harus saling bergotongroyong, membuat jaringan, saling menguatkan dan membangun ekosistem untuk sama-sama berkembang,” ungkap Puan.

“Ingat bahwa di gotong royong itu tidak ada yang maju sendiri-sendiri. Di gotong royong itu ketika ada satu atau dua yang maju maka semuanya ikut dimajukan, tidak ada yang ditinggalkan,” tutupnya.
