JAKARTA – Rapat Kerja Nasional (Rakernas) Asosiasi Perusahaan Jasa Tenaga Kerja Indonesia (APJATI) yang akan berlangsung pada Senin-Selasa 11-12 Desember 2017 di kota Bekasi mendapat perhatian serius dari masyarakat.

“Saya berharap pada Rakernas Apjati esok harus ada perubahan mindset (New Apjati),” ujar Koordinator Formigran, Jamaludin Suryahadikusumah dalam rilis yang diterima redaksi di Jakarta Minggu, (10/12/2017).

Menurut Jamal,  Apjati harus merubah paradigma berfikirnya atau mindset menjadikan TKI sebagi subyek pembangunan bukan obyek. Kredo TKI Pahlawan Devisa itu menyakitkan TKI seolah TKI itu cuma makhluk ekonomi semata. Padahal, untuk bisa mengirimkan devisa tidak sedikit dari buruh migran ini yang bekerja dengan darah dan air mata.

Karena itu, kata Jamal, Apjati harus  juga komitmen untuk meningkatkan kesehjateraan TKI. Apjati jangan hanya bisa menempatkan TKi tapi juga ikut terlibat dalam program pemberdayaan ekonomi bagi TKI.

“Sejak kepengurusan Apjati sebelumnya, saya belum melihat ada peran Apjati dalam upaya pemberdayaan ekonomi TKI Purna dan Keluarganya,” papar mantan Anggota TKI Terancam Hukuman Mati  era Presiden SBY ini.

Formigran juga mencatat perlunya Apjati ikut memastikan peningkatan kompetensi bagi TKI untuk meningkatkan daya saing.  Jika kompetensi meningkat maka otomatis gajinya pun akan tinggi.

Hal lain yang tak kalah penting untuk dilakukan Ketua Umum Apjati Ayub Basalamah saat ini menurut Jamal lembaga ini harus meningkatkan kapasitas anggotanya dalam meningkatkan perlindungan TKI atau dalam hal ini lebih Pro Aktif.

“Saya senang Apjati punya Perwakilan Luar Negeri untuk perlindungan TKI. Tetapi saya belum lihat hasilnya. Ini mungkin soal publikasi yang kurang atau memang ini baru sebatas semangat saja,” tegas Jamal.

Terkait  perbaikan di tubuh Apjati, Jamal meminta agar ada pengawasan terhadap internal atau anggota Apjati agar patuh terhadap regulasi dalam melaksanakan program penempatan TKI.

“Apjati perlu mengumumkan ke publik mana Best PPTKIS dan Bad PPTKIS. Manajemen Reward and Punishment perlu diterapkan kepada anggotanya agar masyarakat  juga tahu kerja Apjati,” harapnya.

Terakhir, Jamal mengharapkan agar semua masukannya ini harus diimplementasikan di dalam program kerja di Rakernas Apjati 2017. (Lutfi)
