Jakarta (14/02/2023) Kehadiran Anies Baswedan memenuhi undangan Partai Ummat bermakna sangat dalam. Bukan kaleng-kaleng , seluruh jajaran pengurus DPW dan DPD sepakat bulat mendukung Anies Baswedan, Gubernur DKI yang dinilai tersukses menjadikan Jakarta sebagai kota bertaraf internasional, dengan karya-karya nyata dan berpihak kepada kepentingan rakyat, hormat kepada tokoh agama apa saja. Memiliki integritas dan intelektual profesional diakui dunia, konsisten dan taat Undang-undang, sangat teruji.
Bahwa sesungguhnya, seorang Profesor Amien Rais, jauh-jauh hari 2017 pernah menyatakan ; in sya Allah Anies Baswedan yang akan berperan menyelamatkan Indonesia. Pernyataan tersebut dilansir di media-media ternama, tidak pernah diralat. Kini, dibuktikan bahwa Prof. Amien Rais juga konsisten dengan pernyataannya.
Dalam acara tersebut, sejumlah pengurus DPW dan DPD membawa spanduk yang sudah disiapkannya dari daerah, berupa dukungan Anies Baswedan maju sebagai calon presiden 2024. Partai Ummat sebagai partai baru memang belum memiliki kursi, akan tetapi diyakini akan sinergis saling menguatkan bersama Anies Baswedan.
Bahwa ternyata, Anies Baswedan juga mengapresiasi Profesor Amien Rais. “Pak Amien Rais ini pelaku sejarah, tokoh reformasi. Perubahan nyata memang harus dilakukan oleh orang yang sudah membuktikan secara nyata, rekam jejak tidak bisa dipungkiri,” ujarnya.
Sejumlah tokoh juga berkenan hadir memenuhi undangan Partai Ummat seperti Jenderal Purnawirawan Gatot Nurmantyo, Profesor Din Syamsuddin, Rocky Gerung, Refly Harun, Profesor Chusnul Mar’iyah dan lain-lain
