TEMANGGUNG – Kabupaten Temanggung dikenal sebagai salah satu daerah di Jawa Tengah yang jarang absen memperoleh penghargaan Adipura atau sebagai kota terbersih. Disadari atau tidak, predikat tersebut berhasil diraih bukan hanya karena peran aktif warga masyarakat atau pemerintahannya, namun juga berkat dedikasi tinggi para pesapon jalanan.
Kerja keras mereka membersihkan ruas-ruas jalan sejak pagi, siang, bahkan malam hari sering terabaikan. Namun demikian, lain halnya dengan apa yang dirasakan oleh Kapolres Temanggung, AKBP Maesa Soegriwo.
Orang nomor satu di lingkungan Kepolisian Resor Temanggung itu mengapresiasi dengan tinggi kerja keras para pesapon jalan dengan memberikan reward berupa paket-paket sembako kepada empat orang petugas atas nama Rosidun, Sudibyo, Jarwiyah dan Ngatrimah.
Maesa mengungkapkan, pemberian hadiah berupa paket sembako kepada empat orang petugas sapu jalanan tersebut tak lepas dari rasa kagum serta bangganya atas kerja keras yang telah mereka berikan demi terciptanya lingkungan yang bersih dan sehat.
“Mereka adalah pahlawan lingkungan yang sebenarnya. Jadi paket sembako yang saya berikan belum sebanding dengan apa yang telah mereka lakukan kepada Temaggung. Awalnya, saya sering melihat mereka bekerja dengan sangat giat sewaktu saya lari-lari pagi. Lama kelamaan saya kagum dan bangga, hingga akhirnya mereka kami panggil ke Mapolres untuk saya beri pernghargaan meski tak seberapa ini,” akunya, Kamis (30/11).
Selain sebagai wujud apresiasi, lanjutnya, kehadiran mereka juga dimaksudkan untuk memberikan contoh kepada anggota Polri di jajaran Polres Temanggung untuk selalu peduli kepada sesama yang lebih membutuhkan sekaligus contoh agar semakin peduli terhadapkebersihan lingkungan sekitar.
“Mereka patut menjadi contoh. Jangan sampai kita mengabaikan kerja keras mereka yang saya pikir bukan semata-mata demi mencari pengakuan, namun tulus dari hati untuk mengabdi kepada Temanggung yang kita cintai ini,” tukasnya.
Sementara itu, Ngatrimah, salah seorang petugas kebersihan yang diundang mengaku tidak menyangka pekerjaannya selama ini mendapat perhatian dari Kapolres Temanggung. Ia bahkan meminta setiap masyarakat untuk tidak segan-segan memberikan teguran apabila selama petugas bekerja dirasa kurang maksimal.
“Kami hanya inginmemberikan yang terbaik untuk Temanggung. Tujuannya agar semua ligkungan bersih dan masyarakat hidup sehat,” pungkasnya. (van)
