Sambut HUT Ke-77, TNI di Kalbar Gelar Bakti Sosial di Perbatasan RI-Malaysia

Sanggau, Selasa (4/10/22) – Dalam rangka menyambut Hari Ulang Tahun (HUT) ke-77 Tentara Nasional Indonesia yang jatuh pada tanggal 5 Oktober, TNI di Kalimantan Barat menggelar kegiatan Bakti Sosial (Baksos) di wilayah perbatasan Indonesia – Malaysia tepatnya di Convenience Store PLBN Entikong.

Kegiatan bakti sosial dibuka oleh Pangdam XII/Tpr, Mayjen TNI Sulaiman Agusto, S.I.P., M.M. Dihadiri oleh Danrem 121/Abw, Brigjen TNI Brigjen TNI Pribadi Jatmiko, Irdam XII/Tpr Brigjen TNI Widhioseno, Perwakilan Lantamal XII/Pontianak dan Lanud Supadio dan Ketua Persit KCK Daerah XII/Tpr.

Bakti sosial untuk membantu kesulitan masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk diantaranya pengobatan gratis untuk 400 orang, sunatan massal kepada 50 anak, bedah rumah 1 unit dan pembagian bantuan berupa 3500 paket Sembako untuk masyarakat tidak mampu.

Saat memberikan keterangan, Pangdam XII/Tpr Mayjen TNI Sulaiman Agusto menjelaskan, selain dalam rangka peringatan hari jadi TNI, kegiatan kali ini juga sebagai wujud apreasi dari TNI kepada masyarakat perbatasan yang selama ini banyak membantu.

“Bahwa selama ini masyarakat banyak membantu Pos – pos perbatasan. Pada tahun ini sesuai tagline bahwa TNI adalah Kita, maka kita hadir bersama – sama disini untuk merayakan HUT TNI yang ke-77,” jelasnya.

Mayjen TNI Sulaiman Agusto mengatakan, kegiatan bakti sosial seperti yang dilaksanakan hari ini rutin dilakukan oleh TNI setiap tahunnya di daerah perbatasan. Hanya saja tempatnya yang berpindah – pindah bisa di Aruk atau Nanga Badau. Melalui hal tersebut diharapkan semakin terjalin kedekatan antara TNI dengan masyarakat.

“Supaya masyarakat sekitar Pos – pos perbatasan merasakan bahwa memang TNI selalu hadir bersama – sama mereka”, pungkas Mayjen TNI Sulaiman Agusto mengakhiri. (Pendam XII/Tpr)
