JAKARTA – Satuan Narkoba Polres Metro Jakarta Barat menangkap TNR (24), seorang mahasiswa dari sebuah perguruan tinggi negeri di Sumedang, Jawa Barat.

 

TNR ditangkap berikut barang narkotika jenis ganja seberat 515 gram (setengah kilogram)

Kasat Narkoba Polres Metro Jakarta Barat AKBP Akmal mengatakan, penangkapan terhadap TNR berawal dari informasi masyarakat pada tanggal 24 Agustus 2022 tentang adanya paket kiriman yang diduga berisi ganja yang dikirim dari Aceh menuju Sumedang Jawa Barat.

 

“Atas dasar informasi tersebut kemudian Timsus melakukan koordinasi dengan pihak jasa ekspedisi dan diketahui satu paket berisi ganja tersebut dikirim dari Aceh menuju Sumedang Jawa Barat,” kata Akmal saat koferensi pers, Jumat (23/9/2022).

 

Akmal mengatakan, pengiriman paket tersebut dialamatkan ke salah satu sekretariat organisasi intra kampus, dengan keterangan paket pengiriman kopi. Selanjutnya, tim dibawah pimpinan Akp Eko Hadi Setiawan melakukan penyelidikam terhadap paket tersebut.

 

“Pada tanggal 31 Agustus 2022 sekira jam 10.00 WIB , Tim berhasil mengamankan seorang laki-laki berinisia TNR pada saat menerima paketnya di kantor jasa ekspedisi,” ungkapnya.

Polisi kemudian menggeledah barang tersebut lalu ditemukan barang bukti berupa tiga kotak kemasan kopi yang di dalamnya terdapat 12 paket plastik silver berisi daun ganja dan biji ganja kering dengan berat brutto 551 gram.

 

Berdasarkan hasil pemeriksaan terhadap tersangka TNR, diakui bahwa 12 paket ganja tersebut adalah miliknya yang di dapatkan dengan cara membeli melalui temannya ALX yang saat ini berstatus Daftar Pencarian Orang (DPO). TNR membeli dengan metode transfer antarbank seharga Rp 2 juta.

“Kemudian ganjanya dikemas dalam paket lalu dikirim dengan menggunakan jasa ekspedisi dengan menggunakan identitas penerima yang sudah tersangka TNR tentukan,” ujarnya.

 

Atas perbuatannya, tersangka kemudian disangkakan dengan Pasal 114 Ayat (1) Sub Pasal 111 ayat (1) Undang-Undang Republik Indonesia Nomor 35 tahun 2009 tentang Narkotika,dengan ancaman pidana penjara seumur hidup atau pidana penjara paling singkat 5 tahun dan paling lama 20 tahun dan denda paling sedikit Rp1 Milyar dan paling banyak Rp10 Milyar.(Humas Polres Metro Jakbar)
