KESBANG, KUALA LUMPUR – Bendera Indonesia yang tercetak dalam buku pantuan pelaksanaan SEA Games (SEAG) 2017 di Malaysia, 19-30 Agustus terbaik sehingga dinilai menciderai pembukaan kejuaraan dua tahunan yang berlangsung meriah di Stadion Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur, Sabtu.

Adalah Menpora Imam Nahrawi yang menemukan secara langsung melihat kondisi bendera Indonesia yaitu Merah Putih yang dicetak terbaik menjadi Putih Merah. Cetakan tersebut berada dalam halaman 80 buku yang dibagikan pada pejabat yang hadir pada pembukaan SEA Games 2017.

“Saya kira ini sangat terledor. Ceroboh sekali. Saya kira hal ini yang mencerai kemegahan pembukaan SEA Games 2017 yang disaksikan jutaan orang,” kata Menpora Imam Nahrawi sambil menunjukkan Cetakan bendera Indonesia.

Atas temuan tersebut pihaknya akan segera melakukan koordinasi dengan lintas kementerian seperti Menko PMK, Menkumham hingga perwakilan kepolisian yang kebetulah hadir dalam pembukaan kejuaraan dua tahunan paling bergengsi di Asia Tenggara itu.

Hasil pertemuan tersebut, kata dia, akan dijadikan modal untuk menindaklanjuti permasalahan yang ada. Apalagi komplain baik secara lisan maupun secara resmi belum dilakukan oleh pemerintah Indonesia.

“Protes jelas akan kami lakukan. Kami juga menunggu permintaan maaf secara langsung dari pemerintah Malaysia. Masak acara besar dan istimewa harus ternoda dengan ini,” kata pria yang akrab dipanggil Cak Imam itu.

Bendera Indonesia yang tercetak terbalik ini sebenarnya untuk menandakan negara mana yang sudah menjadi tuan rumah SEA Games. Dibawah bendera tersebut terpampang jelas tahun tuan rumah yaitu 1979, 1987, 1997 dan 2011.

Kesalahan mencetak bendera ini ternyata hanya terjadi pada Indonesia. Untuk 10 negara lainnya tercetak dengan benar meski banyak warna buka seperti Indonesia yang hanya Merah Putih.
