Kabupaten Kampar bukan saja memiliki pejuang-pejuang yang ikut bagian dari kemerdekaan Republik Indonesia pada tahun 1945, namun Kampar sebelum Indonesia merdeka juga telah memiliki Raja yang ikut berjuang untuk kemerdekaan tersebut.

Demikian disampaikan Bupati Kampar H Catur Sugeng Susanto, SH., MH melalui Sekda Kampar Drs Yusri, M.Si usai menghadiri Festival Gunung Sahilan dalam rangka Haul 5 Tahun Penobatan Seri Paduka yang Dipertuan Agung Raja XII Rantau Kampar Kiri Gunung Sahilan yang dilaksanakan di Istana Darussalam Kerajaan Rantau Kampar Kiri Kecamatan Gunung Sahilan, Sabtu, 22 Januari 2022.

Selain Sekda Kampar, hadir juga pada kesempatan tersebut Wakapolda Riau Brigjen Pol Tabana Bangun, Kasrem 031/Wira Bima Kolonel Inf Habzen Sianturi, SIP., MM, Ketua DPRD Kampar M Faisal,ST, Asisten Setko Kota Pekanbaru Azwan, Kapolres AKBP Rido Rolly Parsaoran Purba, SIK., MH, Panglima Kerajaan Gunung Sahilan Taharuddin Pahang Dt Panglimo Garang, Sekjen DPP Pemuda Melayu, Hendi Sutarsa, Wakil Ketua Umum DPP Pemuda Melayu, Hariman Siregar SH.MH, dan Panglima Kesultanan Ternate yang juga Panglima DPP Pemuda Melayu, Haji Ka’ab Richard.

Kadis Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan Kampar Ir. Zulia Dharma, Camat Gunung Sahilan Musnaini serta perwakilan dari Kerajaan Siak, Pelalawan, Jambi dan lain sebagainya.

Untuk diketahui, Selain Kerajaan Siak di Kabupaten Siak, di Provinsi Riau juga ada Kerajaan Rantau Kampar Kiri yang lebih dikenal dengan sebutan Kerajaan Gunung Sahilan. Sampai saat ini kerajaan ini memiliki dua belas kerajaan.

Kerajaan Gunung Sahilan sudah ada pada abad ke-16, Dimana pada awal rajanya merupakan cucu keempat dari Sri Maha Raja Diraja di Pagaruyung, Minang Kabau. Diraja yang mula-mula menjadi raja di Minang Kabau.

Untuk itu, menjadi kebanggaan bagi kita semua dimana pada abad ke -16 kita telah memiliki kerajaan.

Dalam kerajaan ini bukan di Riau saja, dan bukan saat ini saja. Melainkan sebelum kemerdekaan kerajaan ini memiliki peran dalam kemerdekaan RI.

Sementara itu Gubernur Riau Drs., Syamsuar, M.Si yang diwakili Wakil Gubernur H Edi Arizal Natar Nasution Datuk Sei Timbalan Setia Amanah pada kesempatan tersebut menyampaikan apresiasi atas adanya kerajaan ini semenjak sebelum kemerdekaan.

Dengan diadakan kegiatan haul lima tahun kerajaan ke-XII ini bisa menjadi momentum yang bisa dimanfaatkan untuk membangkitkan adat istiadat di bumi Melayu serta meningkatkan perekonomian di Riau khususnya di Kampar.

Dtk Seri Paduka yang Dipertuan Agung Raja XII Rantau Kampar Kiri Gunung Sahilan H Tengku Muhammad Nizar, SH., MH. sendiri pada kesempatan tersebut menyampaian, bahwa kerajaan Gunung Sahilan akan terus berupaya mengangkat batang tarondam yang sesuai dengan moto arak bersandikan sarak, sarak besandikan kitabullah, artinya segala adat istiadat harus sesuai dengan kitab allah dan sunah Rasul.

Dalam kerajaan Gunung Sahlan sendiri, Kami akan terus menjalin kerjasama dan mendukung program pemerintah daerah guna memajukan kabupaten Kampar, khususnya wilayah se-Rantau Kampar Kiri.

Sejalan dengan itu, dengan telah dilantiknya pengurus kerajaan Gunung Sahilan terutama Panglima Kerajaan Gunung Sahilan Taharuddin Pahang Dt Panglimo Garang yang baru dilantik, kedepan hendaknya dapat membatu raja-raja, guna memajukan kerajaan Gunung Sahilan, bersatu dengan seluruh ninik mamak, serta membantu dan membimbing para anak kemanakan.

Selain itu, kerajaan Gunung Sahilan juga akan terus menjalin kerjasama dan mendukung program pemerintah daerah guna memajukan kabupaten Kampar, khususnya wilayah se-Rantau Kampar Kiri.(akuratnews.com)
