KESBANG.COM, TEMANGGUNG – Wajah-wajah riang penuh optimisme terpancar dari para pesepakbola cilik usai Sekolah Sepakbola (SSB) mereka Wajar Magelang dan Garuda Semarang berhak menempati tangga juara pertama masing-masing untuk Kelompok Umum (KU) 11 dan KU 12 di final Youth Soccer Festival Sepakbola se Jateng-DIY bertajuk Piala SSB Barca 2017 yang digelar selama dua hari berturut-turut, tanggal 14-15 Oktober 2017 di Lapangan Jurang Temanggung.

Untuk KU 11 yang digelar penuh di hari pertama, SSB Wajar Magelang sukses meraih titel juara usai menggulung lawannya SSB Brawijaya Sleman dengan skor tipis 1-0. Sedangkan untuk juara ke tiga dan ke empat masing-masing diduduki oleh SSB Apacinti Semarang dan SSB Barca Temanggung.

Sementara itu, di hari kedua yang total menggelar seluruh pertandingan KU 12, SSB Garuda Semarang tampil sebagai juara setelah mengkandaskan perlawanan alot SSB R2 Solo dengan skor 1-0 usai menjalani babak adu penalti.

Sekretaris Panitia Penyelenggara Festival SSB, Bambang Eko Prayantoro menjelaskan, kejuaraan kali ini total diikuti oleh 32 tim atau masing-masing 16 tim berdasarkan KU yang diikuti. Mereka berasal dari berbagai daerah di Jawa Tengah serta DI Yogyakarta.

“Selain memberikan piala, sertifikat, serta uang pembinaan kepada klub juara pertama hingga keempat, kami juga memberikan penghargaan kepada top skor dari masing-masing KU,” ujarnya, Senin (16/10).

Digelarnya kejuaraan sepakbola junior sendiri tak lain merupakan salah satu kepedulian terhadap pembinaan pesepakbola usia dini, khususnya di wilayah Jateng dan DIY. Pihaknya berharap, melalui ajang seperti ini, di masa mendatang mampu muncul sosok pesepakbola handal yang memiliki kredibilitas serta dedikasi tinggi di lapangan hijau.

Ia juga berpesan agar talenta muda terus mendapat dukungan dari berbagai pihak, terutama orang tua, PSSI, dan pihak klub agar mimpi memajukan sepakbola nasional dapat segera tercapai.

“Seluruh pecinta sepakbola pasti berharap agar suatu saat nanti Timnas Indonesia mampu berbicara banyak di ajang dengan level  Asia Tenggara, Asia, bahkan dunia. Maka dari itu, jangan sampai bakat-bakat cilik yang ada tenggelam di masa depan,” pungkasnya. (van)
