Sembilan Kecamatan di Temanggung Terpantau Rawan Bencana Alam

KESBANG.COM, TEMANGGUNG – Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD) Kabupaten Temanggung, selama memasuki musim penghujan sejak beberapa waktu lalu, pihaknya telah melakukan pemetaan terkait daerah rawan bencana.

Dari hasil pemetaan tersebut, menurut Kasi Penanganan Darurat dan Logistik BPBD Kabupaten Temanggung, Gito Walngadi tercatat sedikitnya ada sembilan kecamatan yang berpotensi dilanda bencana tanah longsor dan banjir.

Dari sembilan titik tersebut, Kecamatan Temanggung, Parakan, dan Kandangan terpantau memiliki tingkat kerawanan pada bencana banjir. Sedangkan enam wilayah lainnya yakni Kecamatan Pringsurat, Kranggan, Candiroto, Wonoboyo, Bejen, dan Tretep rentan akan bahaya tanah longsor.

“BPBD Temanggung sengaja menggelar pemetaan sedini mungkin agar masyarakat di wilayah tersebut dapat melakukan upaya antisipasi sekaligus kewaspadaan,” jelasnya, Kamis (19/10).

Imbuh Gito, setelah dilakukan proses pemetaan, pihak BPBD saat ini terus menggencarkan upaya peringatan kepada masyarakat yang tinggal di sembilan kecamatan tersebut, terutama di titik-titik rawan bencana dalam bentuk sosialisasi untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat, serta kewaspadaan sejak dini.

“Memasuki musim pancaroba dari kemarau ke penghujan seperti ini, kami imbau agar masyarakat lebih waspada. Ada baiknya juga menggunakan ilmu titen, biasanya terkait perubahan. Banyak masyarakat yang sudah memahami akan hal tersebut,” tukasnya.

Lebih jauh ia mengungkapkan, terkait masalah penanganan bencana sendiri, BPBD Kabupaten Temanggung telah mengajukan anggaran ke Badan Nasional Penanggulangan Bencana (BNPB) dengan rincian perkiraan dana yang dibutuhkan mencapai Rp 3,9 miliar.

“Dana sejumlah itu nantinya akan diperuntukkan bagi penanganan darurat apabila terjadi bencana sewaktu-waktu,” pungkasnya. (van)
