KESBANG.COM, JAKARTA – Presiden pertama RI Soekarno memiliki sekitar 200-an lukisan karya maestro Basoeki Abdullah dan karya pelukis mooi indie tersebut menjadi lukisan terbanyak yang dikoleksi oleh Soekarno.

“Presiden Soekarno memiliki banyak lukisan karya Pak Bas, dan lukisan-lukisan yang dikoleksinya memiliki tema sangat beragam dan penting terutama tema nasionalisme, sejarah, mitologi seperti lukisan Nyi Roro Kidul,” kata kurator pameran “Lacak!!!” sekaligus dosen Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Mikke Susanto di Jakarta, Selasa.

Salah satu cerita menarik adalah ketika Soekarno berkirim surat kepada Tuan Hasan Sastra Atmadja pemilik media Nusantara karena Soekarno tertarik pada salah satu lukisan Basoeki Abdullah yang objeknya adalah Nyonya Hasan.

Surat pribadi tersebut pun dipamerkan dalam pameran “Lacak!!!” yang digelar di Museum Basoeki Abdullah pada 7 hingga 22 November 2017.

Dalam surat tersebut Soekarno menulis bahwa dia sangat tertarik dengan lukisan Nyonya Hasan dan ingin sekali menjadikan lukisan tersebut sebagai salah satu koleksinya.

Dia juga menyebutkan lukisan tersebut sebagai lukisan “mutu seninya tinggi”, Tuan Hasan pun menyetujui dan akhrinya Soekarno dapat memiliki lukisan tersebut.

Menurut Mikke yang juga kurator dalam pameran tersebut, surat Soekarno tersebut perlu dilihat sebagai kepeduliannya yang besar terhadap lukisan, sehingga untuk memilikinya dia perlu membuat surat.

Namun sampai saat ini, Mikke belum dapat menemukan lukisan potret Nyonya Hasan tersebut.

“Saya masih melacak yang mana lukisan Nyonya Hasan itu, karena wajah Nyonya Hasan sangat jarang dipublikasikan,” kata Mikke.

Selain Soekarno, Presiden kedua RI juga memiliki karya Basoeki Abdullah walaupun tak sebanyak yang dikoleksi oleh Soekarno, lukisan yang diminati oleh Soeharto adalah lukisan pemandangan dan potret dirinya dan keluarganya. (ant)
