El-Royale Hotel (19/03/2023), PLH Ketua Serikat Pekerja Migran Indonesia Perisai Pancasila Nursalim, Waketum I Usolli Siringo dan Waketum II Eko Pranoto hadir memenuhi undangan Kepala BP2MI Benny Rhamdani pelepasan calon pekerja migran Indonesia (CPMI) tujuan Korea Selatan yang akan diberangkatkan dalam waktu dekat ini. Sejumlah 249 CPMI memenuhi Aula El-Royale Hotel.

Kepala BP2MI Benny Rhamdani mengungkapkan, BP2MI akan terus melakukan kerja-kerja kolaboratif dengan pihak terkait dalam menjaga PMI.
Benny mengungkapkan,
Tak hanya itu, BP2MI juga melakukan penandatangan MoU dengan 8 Pemerintah Daerah Kabupaten/Kota dan 1 perguruan tinggi dalam kerjasama pendidikan dan pelatihan PMI.

Benny mengatakan, tanggungjawab melindungi PMI tak hanya berada di pundak BP2MI. Melainkan, merupakan tanggungjawab juga untuk pemerintah provinsi hingga pemerintah desa.

“Mari kita lihat dalam Pasal 40 Undang-Undang Nomor 18 Tahun 2017, itu ada 9 tanggungjawab pemerintah provinsi. Lalu, pasal 41 ada 12 tanggungjawab pemerintah kabupaten/kota. Kemudian, Pasal 42 ada 5 tanggungjawab pemerintah desa,” ujar Benny dalam pidatonya.

Program G to G Korea Selatan tahun 2023 target 12.000 PMI, perminggu rata-rata 300 an CPMI diberangkatkan.

Sementara itu disela acara, PLH Ketua Serikat Peduli Migran Indonesia Perisai Pancasila Nursalim dikejar perihal 9 program unggulan yang disinggung di acara sabtu sebelumnya, menjelaskan. “Ya, karena saat itu tidak tuntas saya sampaikan,” ujar Nursalim.
Lanjutnya, sembilan program unggulan SPMI-PP meliputi :
1. Layanan crisis center.
2. Pembentukan pos informasi lowongan kerja dan pengaduan.
3. Pembentukan struktur Wilayah , Daerah, Kecamatan yang potensial di seluruh Indonesia.
4. Kajian isu-isu terkait PMI melalui kegiatan studi /riset, tentu hal ini akan melibatkan para pakar maupun perguruan tinggi. Sebab, kajian itu mesti akurat, ilmiah agar hasilnya bisa dipertanggungjawabkan dan memberikan manfaat kedepannya.


5. Pelatihan, baik itu formal untuk kaderisasi maupun khusus ketrampilan seperti Paralegal kemarin. Ini lebih kepada peningkatan SDM kader, pengurus dan anggota SPMI-PP.
6. Advokasi, untuk memaksimalkan pembelaan terhadap masa depan PMI, dari pra mau pasca penempatan.
7. Pengembangan pusat layanan usaha bagi PMI (SPMI-PP center)
8. Diskusi, seminar dan lokakarya


9. Media dan publikasi.
