“Orang sakit lambung sudah berobat ke mana-mana bahkan sampai ke luar negeri tapi tidak ditemukan penyakitnya, ternyata akibat stres,” kata Eka di Jakarta, Kamis.

Dia menyebutkan kondisi stres sangat memengaruhi fisik seseorang, mulai dari kerontokan rambut yang berlebihan atau kebotakan.

Pengaruh stres pada otak juga menyebabkan insomnia, sakit kepala, mudah marah, kecemasan, dan depresi.

Akibat stres juga bisa berdampak pada mulut dengan munculnya sariawan dan kekeringan yang berlebihan.

Pada organ jantung juga berpengaruh terhadap penyakit kardiovaskular dan hipertensi. Selain itu juga bisa menyebabkan asma pada paru-paru.

Stres juga memengaruhi saluran pencernaan seperti penyakit gastritis, tukak lambung dan lain-lain. Dampak stres pada kulit juga menyebabkan eksim dan psoriasis.

Stres juga bisa memengaruhi otot seperti sakit di leher dan bahu, sakit pada otot dan tulang, dan sakit di punggung bawah.

Dampak lainnya juga bisa berpengaruh pada gangguan organ reproduksi seperti gangguan menstruasi dan infeksi vagina berulang pada wanita, serta impotensi dan ejakulasi dini pada pria.

Eka menekankan pentingnya mengelola stres untuk menjaga kesehatan mental yang juga akan sangat memengaruhi kesehatan fisik seseorang. (Ant)
