*JAKARTA* – Ketua MPR RI sekaligus Wakil Ketua Umum Partai Golkar dan Kepala Badan Hubungan Penegakan Hukum, Pertahanan dan Keamanan KADIN Indonesia Bambang Soesatyo mengapresiasi kinerja Kepala Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan (BPOM) Penny Lukito yang senantiasa mendukung perkembangan dunia usaha melalui pembinaan dan penerbitan sertifikasi sesuai ketentuan yang berlaku. Dengan bimbingan BPOM, setiap produk makanan dan minuman yang diproduksi di dalam negeri oleh berbagai perusahaan, bisa terjamin kualitas mutu dan keamanannya.
“Sebagaimana telah dilakukan PT Banjarnegara Agro Mandiri Sejahtera (BAMS) yang mengikuti berbagai prosedur dan tahapan dari BPOM. PT BAMS yang beroperasi di Kabupaten Banjarnegara, salah satu kabupaten yang terdapat di Daerah Pemilihan saya di Jawa Tengah VII, mengolah hasil pertanian, perkebunan, dan peternakan dari para petani sekitar menjadi makanan olahan dalam kaleng. Seperti Keripik Salak, Keripik Nangka, Keripik Pisang, Keripik Pepaya, Keripik Edamame, Keripik Ubi Ungu, dan berbagai olahan pertanian lainnya. Selain juga memproduksi makanan olahan kaleng seperti opor ayam, garang asem, nasi goreng, hingga Ransum makanan siap saji tanpa dimasak lagi,” ujar Bamsoet usai menerima Kepala BPOM Penny Lukito, di Jakarta, Rabu (7/6/23).
Turut hadir antara lain, Sekretaris Utama BPOM Rita Mahyona, Plt Deputi Bidang Penindakan BPOM Rizkal, Komisaris PT BAMS Teddy Iman, Direktur Utama PT BAMS Ari Sumanto, serta Direktur Marketing PT BAMS Andri Noviar.
Ketua DPR RI ke-20 dan mantan Ketua Komisi III DPR RI bidang Hukum, HAM, dan Keamanan ini menjelaskan, PT BAMS telah melaksanakan ekspor perdana berbagai produk olahannya ke Jerman sebanyak 630 Kg pada 2019 lalu. Pada tahun 2022, PT BAMS juga telah mengekspor berbagai produknya ke Kanada bekerjasama dengan Tucan Canada, ekspor ke Jepang bekerjasama dengan Daiso Japan, Nichini Shoji dan ITPC Osaka serta ekspor ke Amerika bekerjasama dengan Greenway United.
“PT BAMS juga dipercaya oleh TNI untuk mensuplai Ransum bagi para prajurit dalam bentuk makanan dalam kemasan kaleng. Terdapat 12 menu dan lauk yang berbeda dalam setiap paket Ransum. Antara lain, nasi lauk daging, nasi lauk ayam, dan nasi lauk ikan. Dalam setiap Ransum, sudah dipastikan memenuhi standar gizi dan ketentuan terkait lainnya. Sehingga terjamin kebutuhan kalori sekaligus kenikmatan rasanya. Begitupun masa expirednya tidak boleh lebih dari 24 bulan sejak tanggal produksi. Hal ini menjadi kontribusi PT BAMS dalam menjaga kedaulatan bangsa, dengan turut serta menjaga kesehatan dan stamina prajurit,” jelas Bamsoet.
Ketua Dewan Pembina Depinas SOKSI dan Wakil Ketua Umum FKPPI ini menerangkan, keberadaan PT BAMS membuktikan hasil bumi Banjarnegara memiliki kualitas mumpuni untuk menguasai pasar internasional. Sebagai negara agraris, sangat disayangkan jika hasil pertanian tidak diolah lebih lanjut untuk mendapatkan nilai tambah ekonomi.
“Melalui kegiatan pabrikasi berskala ekspor, PT BAMS telah membuktikan kepada dunia bahwa hasil pertanian Indonesia tidak kalah dibanding negara tetangga, seperti Thailand, Vietnam, dan Malaysia,” pungkas Bamsoet. (*)
