*JAKARTA* – Ketua MPR RI sekaligus Wakil Ketua Umum Partai Golkar Bambang Soesatyo mengapresiasi dan mendukung perjalanan Forum Silaturahmi Anak Bangsa (FSAB) sebagai gerakan moral yang terus menyebarkan benih perdamaian ke berbagai penjuru Tanah Air. Didalamnya berkumpul berbagai anak cucu anggota TNI maupun anak cucu berbagai gerakan seperti Pemerintahan Revolusioner Republik Indonesia (PRRI), Pemerintahan Darurat Republik Indonesia (PDRI), Perjuangan Rakyat Semesta (PERMESTA), Darul Islam/Tentara Islam Indonesia (DI/TII), maupun Gerakan 30 September/Partai Komunis Indonesia (G30S/PKI).

“Berdiri sejak tahun 2003, FSAB kini sudah memasuki usia ke-20 tahun. Peringatan ulang tahun akan diselenggarakan pada 14 Juni 2023 di Auditorium Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI). FSAB telah menjadi landasan bagi Bangsa Indonesia bahwa konflik yang terjadi di masa lalu tidak boleh diwariskan ke generasi selanjutnya. Cukup dijadikan pelajaran penting agar tidak terulang di kemudian hari. FSAB juga menunjukan bahwa benih-benih konflik antar anak bangsa sebenarnya bisa diredam dan diselesaikan. Kuncinya, semua pihak mau bersikap terbuka dan membangun dialog untuk menciptakan saling kesepahaman,” ujar Bamsoet usai menerima pengurus Forum Silaturahmi Anak Bangsa (FSAB), di Jakarta, Rabu (7/6/23).

Turut hadir antara lain, Ketua FSAB Suryo Susilo, Mayang Deborah (cucu Pahlawan Revolusi D.I. Pandjaitan), Bara Wiryawan (cucu Tokoh Sastrawan Pujangga Baru, Sanoesi Pane), Nina Pane (Novelis, penulis buku FSAB: The Children of War).

Ketua DPR RI ke-20 dan mantan Ketua Komisi III DPR RI bidang Hukum, HAM, dan Keamanan ini juga mengajak FSAB agar tidak hanya menyetop konflik warisan masa lalu, melainkan juga terlibat dalam membendung berbagai potensi konflik yang terjadi hari ini, agar tidak membesar di esok hari. Khususnya dalam mewaspadai terjadinya konflik akibat penyelenggaraan Pemilu 2024 dan Pilkada Serentak 2024.

“Sebagaimana diketahui, pada beberapa kali penyelenggaraan Pemilu, hampir selalu menyisakan residu persoalan di tengah-tengah masyarakat. Kontestasi Politik seringkali menyebabkan polarisasi rakyat pada kutub-kutub yang berseberangan, bahkan berpotensi memicu konflik horisontal. Karena itu, diperlukan sikap kedewasaan dan kebijaksanaan dari segenap kelompok masyarakat,” jelas Bamsoet.

Wakil Ketua Umum Pemuda Pancasila dan Wakil Ketua Umum FKPPI ini menerangkan, dalam konteks kehidupan demokrasi, negara menjamin kebebasan untuk mengemukakan pendapat dalam segala bidang, termasuk dalam menentukan pilihan dan orientasi politik. Dalam kaitan ini, berbagai kelompok masyarakat memiliki peran penting dan krusial dalam menarasikan pentingnya menjaga nilai-nilai kebersamaan.

“FSAB bisa menjadi mitra strategis pemerintah dalam menjaga agar aktualisasi kehidupan berpolitik tidak bersinggungan dengan isu-isu sensitif yang dapat menimbulkan kesalahpahaman, dan memicu konflik horisontal. Apalagi, menjadikannya sebagai alat pembenar,” pungkas Bamsoet. (*)
