Hal tersebut disampaikan Nova Iriansyah dalam sambutaannya saat menghadiri acara Pelantikan dan Pengambilan Sumpah/Janji Anggota Panitia Pengawas Pemilihan (Panwaslih) untuk pemilihan Bupati dan Wakil Bupati serta Walikota dan Wakil Walikota di Kabupaten Pidie Jaya, Aceh Selatan, dan Kota Subulussam tahun 2018. Serta Pelantikan dan pengambilan sumpah Anggota Panitia Pengawas Pemilihan Umum (Panwaslu) Kabupaten/Kota Se-Aceh untukPemilihan DPR, DPD, DPRD dan Pemilihan Umum Presiden dan Wakil Presiden 2019 di Gedung Amel Convention, Selasa (12/9/17).
“Kami berharap saudara-saudari dapat menjalankan amanah secara profesional, jujur dan taat hokum sehingga Pilkada di tiga wilayah dan Pemilihan anggota Legislatif dan Pemilihan Presiden di Aceh tahun 2019 berlangsung adil, aman, lancer dan berkualitas,” kata Nova.
Nova menyampaikan, selain akan melaksanakan Pemilu Legislatif dan Pemilu Presiden tahun 2019, di Aceh juga akan berlangsung Pilkada di tiga kabupaten/kotatahun 2018, yaitu di Kabupaten Pidie Jaya, Kabupaten Aceh Selatan dan Kota Subulussalam.
Untuk kegiatan Pilkada tersebut kata Nova, dibutuhkan kehadiran Pengawas Pilkada atau Panwaslih, yang perekrutannya merujuk kepada Undang-Undang Pemerintah Aceh.
“Peran saudara-saudar sangat penting untuk mengawasi setiap tahapan yang akan berlangsung. Oleh sebab itu, saya dan seluruh rakyat Aceh berharap saudara dapat menjalankan amanah ini dengan sebaik-baiknya demi tegaknya demokrasi yang berkualitas di daerah kita,” ujar Nova.
Pada kesempatan tersebut, Nova juga berpesan agar Panwaslih dan Panwaslu membangun kerjasama yang baik dengan semua pihak dalam rangka mendukung kinerja lembaga Panwaslu dalam mengawasi seluruh tahapan Pemilu 2019 dan lembaga Panwaslih di tiga kab/kota yang akan melaksanakan Pilkada 2018.
“Dalam melakukan pengawasan ini, saudara harus mampu membangun komunikasi yang intensif dengan KIP Aceh dan KIP Kab/kota, Polda Aceh dan seluruh instansi terkait,” kata Nova.
Nova juga menghimbau agar Panwaslih dan Panwaslu agar tidak takut terhadap ancaman apapun dan bekerja dengan sepenuh hati tanpa berpihak kepada siapapun, kecuali pada aturan hukum yang berlaku.
Sementaraitu, Ketua Bawaslu RI, Abhan, SH, mengingatkan anggota panwaslih dan panwaslu untuk menjaga dan menjalankan amanat yang diberikan dengan baik serta tidak menyalahugunakanya.
“Tadi sudah disumpah, tanggung jawab anda semua tidak hanya kepada manusia tapi juga kepada Allah” kata Abhan.
Abhan meyakini, Pilkada dan pemilu di Aceh nantinya akan belangsung dengan aman dan sukses sebagaimana kesuksesan pada pemilihan Gubernur dan Wakil Gubernur beberapa waktu lalu.
“Kami yakin, seyakin yakinnya masyarakat Aceh sudah dewasa dalam berpolitik untuk menata demokrasi yang lebih baik di Aceh,” kata Abhan. (Ant/ Foto: Ist)
