KESBANG.COM, JAKARTA – Wakil Ketua MPR RI Oesman Sapta menegaskan generasi muda harus mampu mencegah upaya memecah belah persatuan dan kesatuan bangsa melalui berbagai langkah nyata yang dilakukan.

Dalam keterangan pers yang diterima di Jakarta, Kamis, Oesman Sapta saat menerima Pengurus Pusat Forum Komunikasi Putra-Putri Purnawirawan dan Putra-Putri TNI-Polri di Gedung Nusantara III MPR/DPR/DPD RI Jakarta mengatakan organisasi kepemudaan harus berperan dalan menjaga persatuan dan mencegah hal-hal yang bisa merusak keutuhan bangsa.

Oesman mengatakan FKPPI semestinya memang menjadi pelopor dan contoh dalam menjaga keutuhan NKRI dan menjaga Pancasila dari rongrongan. FKPPI mesti tegas kepada para oknum yang sengaja akan merusak persatuan dan kesatuan bangsa.

Ketua Badan Bela Negara PP FKPPI Bambang Soesatyo yang memimpin delegasi pengurus FKPPI mengatakan selain berdiskusi dengan Wakil Ketua MPR RI, juga dalam pertemuan itu menyampaikan undangan agar pimpinan MPR RI dapat menghadiri acara apel kebangsaan yang akan diselenggarakan oleh organisasi tersebut.

Apel tersebut akan diselenggarakan pada 18 November dan akan diikuti oleh 10 ribu personil FKPPI dari seluruh Indonesia.

“Kami harap Pak Oesman Sapta hadir. Dalam kegiatan ini juga kami mengundang Bapak Presiden RI yang akan menjadi inspektur upacara,” katanya.

Menurut dia, apel tersebut dimaksudkan untuk menggelorakan persatuan dan kesatuan bangsa serta memberikan peringatan tegas kepada para oknum yang berpotensi merusak persatuan dan kesatuan bangsa melalui gerakan-gerakan baik terang-terangan atau terselubung, yang mengancam Pancasila dan UUD NRI tahun 1945.

FKPPI, lanjut Bambang juga membuka diri untuk kepada kader-kader kepemudaaan lainnya untuk berpartisipasi dalam apel kebangsaan dengan satu tujuan mendukung Pancasila dan NKRI. (Ant)
