Di dalam situasi sistem dan alam demokratis, seharusnya berlaku prinsip “the people control the leaders” tetapi di negara kita sekarang ini yang berjalan adalah, “the leaders control the people”. Mungkin saja, orang-orang yang masih berani mengkritik rezim dimasukkan dalam daftar hitam atau black list.

Lanjutnya, ia lantas ingat, bagaimana tokoh ulama sekaliber Buya Hamka dimasukkan penjara, demikian pula tokoh-tokoh sekaliber Pak Natsir dijadikan musuh Negara. Rezim Jokowi – Luhut amat sangat mudah melakukan kudeta terkutuk itu. Mengapa, karena kapan saja, Pimpinan MPR, dan sebagian Fraksi di DPR serta oknum-oknum dari 700-an anggota DPR-RI sekarang ini akan sangat mudah digiring ke satu arah, yakni menyelenggarakan SU-MPR untuk membahas PPHN Pokok – Pokok Haluan Negara.

Dengan segala macam dalih dan alasan. Begitu terjadi sidang umum MPR hampir bisa dipastikan gagasan gila 3 periode buat Jokowi dengan mengubah pasal tertentu atau membuat 1 pasal baru guna meladeni ambisi gila yang sangat-sangat scandalous, yakni tambahan satu periode buat Jokowi akan menjadi kenyataan.

Saya yakin masih cukup banyak hamba Allah di berbagai angkatan dan kepolisian serta birokrasi pemerintahan, tetapi juga para intelektual yang tidak mau jadi pelacur kekuasaan, juga ulama ul – haqq yang mustahil dapat ditaklukkan dengan iming-iming keduniaan dan angkatan muda bangsa Indonesia yang punya prinsip untuk tetap menyuarakan lantang penegakan keadilan & kebenaran, “pungkas Amien Rais.
