*JAKARTA* – Ketua MPR RI sekaligus Ketua Umum Ikatan Motor Indonesia (IMI) dan Dewan Pembina Pengurus Besar e-Sport Indonesia (PB ESI) Bambang Soesatyo mengungkapkan, diorganisir oleh MP1 dan Naganaya Indonesia, IMI Pusat dan PB ESI pimpinan Jenderal Pol (Purn) Budi Gunawan akan menyelenggarakan MotoGP eSport Indonesian Series 2022 berbasis game console. Dorna Sport selaku penyelenggara MotoGP dunia telah memberikan kehormatan kepada Indonesia untuk menjadi negara pertama yang menyelenggarakan MotoGP eSport Country Series.

Kepercayaan dari Dorna Sport tersebut tidak lepas karena besarnya jumlah penggemar MotoGP di Indonesia yang diperkirakan mencapai 2,6 juta jiwa. Sekaligus juga karena kesuksesan Indonesia menyelenggarakan MotoGP Indonesian Series pada 18-20 Maret 2022 di Pertamina Mandalika International Street Circuit, Lombok, NTB. Tidak kurang dari 2 miliar penonton dunia menyaksikannya melalui televisi maupun streaming dari berbagai media lainnya. Serta 64 ribu penonton yang datang langsung ke sirkuit.

“Tidak heran jika untuk MotoGP eSport Country Series, Indonesia mendapatkan kehormatan sebagai negara pertama yang menyelenggarakannya melalui MotoGP eSport Indonesia Series 2022. Tahapan pelaksanaannya sedang disusun. Diperkirakan pada akhir Juli 2022 ini sudah bisa melakukan konferensi pers sekaligus membuka pendaftaran peserta. Grand Final ditargetkan terselenggara pada November 2022,” ujar Bamsoet usai menerima panitia penyelenggara MotoGP eSport Indonesian Series 2022 dari MP1 dan Naganaya Indonesia, di Jakarta, Rabu (13/7/22).

Panitia penyelenggara MotoGP eSport Indonesia Series 2022 dari MP1 dan Naganaya Indonesia yang hadir antara lain, Steering Committee Esti Arianti Kesuma, Chief Committee Aditya Adiguna, Business Development Director Rafidi Iqra, Operations League Manager Handrianus Maturbongs, serta Event Coordinator Yusfi Astrini Karmina.

 

Ketua DPR RI ke-20 dan mantan Ketua Komisi III DPR RI bidang Hukum, HAM, dan Keamanan ini menjelaskan, MotoGP eSport Indonesia Series 2022 ditargetkan bisa diikuti seribu team partisipan. Memperebutkan hadiah mencapai Rp 250 juta hingga Rp 300 juta. Pendaftaran peserta bisa dilakukan dengan dua cara, yakni online melalui official website yang nanti akan diluncurkan, maupun secara offline melalui booth yang akan dibuka di beberapa mall.

“Setelah terdaftar, seribu team tersebut akan mengikuti tahap kualifikasi awal dengan bertanding secara online dari tempatnya masing-masing. Pertandingan menggunakan skema time attack, sehingga bisa menghasilkan 12 team terbaik yang akan maju ke babak selanjutnya,” jelas Bamsoet.

Wakil Ketua Umum Partai Golkar dan Kepala Badan Hubungan Penegakan Hukum, Pertahanan dan Keamanan KADIN Indonesia ini menerangkan, 12 besar peserta terpilih tersebut nantinya akan bertanding sebanyak 6 putaran di 6 track sirkuit yang berbeda dengan akumulasi poin pada setiap race. Pemain dengan akumulasi poin terbanyak akan menjadi juara MotoGP eSport Indonesia Series 2022.

 

“Putaran 1 sampai putaran 4 akan dilakukan secara online, sehingga setiap team bisa bertanding dari tempatnya masing-masing. Sementara Putaran 5 dan Putaran 6 Grand Final akan dilakukan secara offline di tempat yang nanti akan ditentukan. Pada setiap putaran juga akan ada sesi podium. Sehingga 3 peserta yang berhasil finish terdepan akan menerima medali secara virtual, sekaligus menerima hadiah uang tunai yang bisa dikirim melalui transfer bank,” pungkas Bamsoet. (*)
