KESBANG.COM, JAKARTA – Partisipasi politik memiliki peran penting sebagai bagian dalam memperkuat kehidupan demokrasi Indonesia. Karena itu, pendidikan etika dan budaya politik menjadi agenda penting untuk mendukung eksistensi perempuan dalam pentas politik di Indonesia.

Hal itu dikatakan Pakar Pemerintahan Prof. Ryaas Rasyid  dalam seminar yang bertajuk “Pendidikan Politik Bertema Partisipasi Perempuan dalam Mendukung Agenda Demokrasi Pemilu Serentak Tahun 2019  di Hotel Royal, Kuningan, Jakarta, Senin (16/8/2017).

Seminar yang digelar Direktorat Politik Dalam Negeri Kemendagri ini juga menghadirkan pembicara yaitu Anggota Komisi II DPR RI Hetifah Sjaifudian  yang berbicara dengan  judul “Strategi Mengokohkan Politik Perempuan” ini dihadiri  dari perwakilan pengurus partai politik, organisasi kemasyarakatan perempuan, dan ormas keagamaan.

Ryaas Rasyid mengharapkan,peran politik perempuan bisa memberikan andil dalam menata kehidupan politik di Indonesia.

“Kalau pun anda tidak memiliki keberanian politik untuk mengungkapkan kebenaran setidaknya hal itu tetap anda sampaikan di lingkungan di mana anda beraktifitas sebagai bentuk pertangungjawaban anda di hadapan Tuhan kelak,” gugahnya.

Direktur Politik Dalam Negeri Kemendagri, DR. Bahtiar mengatakan di Direktorat kini sudah ada unit kami Sub Direktorat Etika dan Budaya Politik yang dipimpin oleh Kasubdit Fasilitasi Etika dan Budaya Politik Direktorat Politik dalam Negeri, Cahyo Ariawan.

Kepada prof Ryaas Rasyid, Bahtiar meminta agar melakukan pencerahan terhadap aktivis perempuan lintas organisasi yang hadir.

“Kami tahu program pendidikan politik ini sudah banyak banyak kementrian dan lembaga dengan mengeluarkan dana ratusan miiliar namun faktanya partisipasi politik perempuan masih jauh dari harapan,” imbuh birokrat asal Sulsel itu.

Kepada politis Golkar, DR. Hatifah, Bahtiar mengharapkan mengulas soal partisipasi perempuan agar bisa meningkat significan pada Pemilu Serentak Tahun  2017.
